Where do WellBridge Surgeons come from?

Some of the most prominent surgeons in their fields perform procedures at WellBridge. In fact, they also operate out of the major hospital networks across Central Indiana. Each surgeon has been thoroughly vetted and hand-picked by our founders, based on experience, quality, and outcomes, to ensure they will provide the highest level of surgical skill available. 

Will you select a surgeon for me?

Yes, typically. But you’re always welcome to select one of the Wellbridge surgeons yourself.

Do I have to use a WellBridge surgeon?

Yes. Maintaining a limited core of the most highly-skilled surgeons available ensures that you will receive the best experience. Rest assured, our surgeons are the best of the best.


What is included in the price?

WellBridge surgical prices include the facility fee, the surgeon’s fee, the anesthesiologist’s fee, the pathology fee, implants if needed and routine follow-up care. See our Pricing Details for more information.

How can the prices be so low?

It’s almost unbelievable, isn’t it? But the truth is, we’re simply offering a better, more affordable way to have surgery. At WellBridge, we’ve cut out the bureaucracy, added hospital network costs, insurance hassles, cost-shifting, and other “traditional ways” that have kept health care so expensive. WellBridge Surgical is physician-owned and managed. We control our costs. We are 100% committed to providing the best quality care at the lowest possible price.

How long is the quoted price valid?

The price quote you receive for your procedure is good for 60 days from the date it is created.


Who will I pay?

Your payment will be made to WellBridge Surgical.

What methods of payment do you accept?

To keep our prices as low as possible, we ask that individuals pay with a cashier’s check, money order or debit card whenever possible. Credit cards, cash, and HSA/FSA cards may be accepted on a case by case basis. Human resource departments or divisions of self-insured companies can make other arrangements if necessary.

Do you accept insurance?

Possibly. It depends on your insurer. For the most part, WellBridge Surgical provides services paid for outside of traditional insurers. However, WellBridge has arrangements with certain insurance companies that allow direct payment from the insurer. If you would like to inquire about your specific situation, we would be happy to discuss.

Will this count toward my deductible?

Usually not. However, certain insurance companies will count this toward your yearly deductible. In addition, self-funded employers who access insurance networks for their employees may have programs that incentivize surgical care at WellBridge. We are happy to discuss your specific situation at any time.

If my insurer is not accepted, should I still come to WellBridge?

There are many variables, but almost everyone who has insurance will at some point have a surgery need for which WellBridge can offer true out of pocket savings. It will depend on a few things including your deductible amount, the amount you’ve paid toward your deductible this year, and if you access your insurance through a self-funded employer. If you are unsure, it is best to discuss your specific situation with us.

Can payment arrangements be made?

Payment in full is required at the time service is rendered. Aside from payments made directly from a self-funded employer, no payment arrangements can be made. This is how we can offer our deeply-discounted rates. As always, the WellBridge team can discuss payment/financing options with you.

What if I see the physician and he or she doesn't believe I am a surgical candidate?

You are responsible for paying your Consultation Fee. If the surgeon does not feel you are a candidate for surgery, you have no other financial obligations. 

May I stay overnight in the facility?

All procedures are outpatient and do not require overnight stays.
